Capturing the wedding of Lucy and Jordan was an absolute delight, filled with unique touches and heartfelt moments that truly reflected their personalities. The ceremony and reception took place at the Future Inn Plymouth, a modern hotel located just outside the city center, offering a cosy and versatile setting for weddings.
A Unique Celebration
From our initial conversation months before the wedding, it was evident that Lucy and Jordan had a clear vision for their special day. Lucy stunned in a beautiful white dress with a long train, paired with sparkling Converse trainers—a perfect blend of elegance and personal flair. Her black and white bouquet complemented the theme seamlessly. As she walked down the aisle, led by her father, a rock version of Mendelssohn’s Wedding March played, adding a modern twist to the traditional processional. Jordan, looking handsome and beaming with joy, awaited her at the flowery arch, embodying the excitement and love that filled the room.
The Venue: Future Inn Plymouth
The Future Inn Plymouth served as an excellent backdrop for the day's events. Known for its modern amenities and versatile function suites, the hotel can accommodate both intimate gatherings and larger celebrations, with spaces that can host up to 100 guests for a ceremony and 120 for an evening reception.
The neutral colour scheme of the function rooms allows couples to personalise the space to their liking, which Lucy and Jordan did beautifully.
Personalised Décor
The reception room was adorned with black and white decorations, black feathers, and helium balloons in shades of black, white, and silver, emblasoned with "Mr & Mrs." Black table runners added a touch of sophistication, leading to the pièce de résistance—the black wedding cake, which was both visually striking and delicious. These thoughtful details showcased the couple's unique style and attention to detail, creating an atmosphere that was both elegant and personal.
